What is your solution and how will it meet the needs of community locally and globally?

I just started reading, "The Indomitable Ladies of the St. Cloud Reading Room Society." It is an inspiring and forward pushing story that should be shared with the world. Barbara Saigo of The St. Cloud Reading Room Society pointed the book out to me at the Art Crawl or I might never have gotten it in my hands. What is compelling about this story is not the mission and goals, though they have achieved great things in expanding access to literacy, culture and the arts, it is the process by which women empower themselves that is captured here and the validation of their place along side the founding fathers and new leaders who, Man or Woman, we somehow think of as a Masculine/Fatherly force.

As Women's groups both locally and globally achieve their goals and see a need to expand their field of vision, they are asking this question, "What's next". Still there are more Women's groups popping up to build new communities, communities within communities and still others rebuilding communities devastated by war or natural disasters. I suggest they are echoing a unified voice to bridge the power and talent of their creative openness with their physical/material power and their vibrant visions to build communities that thrive, share inspirations, solutions and offer validation of this amazing process we call Woman Power.

In Central MN, there are a number of women's groups providing leadership and opportunities to access the economic, educational, health and social experiences our residents need to thrive: The American Association of University Women, Central MN Branch, Omeka Latinaka, The Multi Cultural Center and African American Alliance, Hands Across the World, Thrive, Anna Marie's and The League of Women Voters.  I am sure there are many more that I am missing along with the many Women heroes in Business, Education, Government and Health.

So you might ask, is it Women who will save the world, build a bustling global community that is growing abundance? No, but it is the visions and actions of individuals and groups who are largely Women, welcoming and open to build thriving communities that will show us the way. We invite you to share your story, your talents your visions and your events. Share our link with everyone you know who aspires to thrive and be a stakeholder in the future of our community and our world.
We invite Central Minnesotans of all colors, genders, belief systems and talents to comment, like our Facebook page and or attend our netweaving event. We invite stakeholders in the future of our planet to explore I Game Attitude blog and The I Game.
