Breaking the Silence: Being the Change

"The times they are a changin"

...and no one needs to be last. The majority– those growing peaceful prosperity– are breaking the silence to sing out and dance above the cacophony of the noisy few. Those living in or near St. Cloud, Minnesota are responding to a few who still criticize what they don't understand with We are One Rally and March uniting around this vision, celebrating difference and embracing the gifts of our global community.

Step out of the battle and use vision and voice to be the diverse, thriving community we aspire to be. Share stories and innovate to create solutions to the many challenges of our increasingly diverse and fast expanding and interconnected communities and world. Let the windows rattle and the walls fall. We're walking a new road and all are welcome to join in the paving.

There are a number of initiatives and events in greater St. Cloud to build awareness of challenges,  and create pathways to build a welcoming community where all residents can thrive. Here are just a few to invite and inspire:

  • Create CommUNITY is an ongoing initiative to dismantle systsemic racism and that offers many opportunities to participate and an annual conversation.
  • Hands Across the World  The first contact for immigrant and refugee families who do not have the language or living skills to thrive in our Central Minnesota communities.
  • The St. Cloud Regional Human Rights Commission offers an open forum the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Follow its Facebook page to connect.
  • http://www.centralmnwomenshine.com/ provides a space to share your hopes, challenges, inspirations and actions to grow wealth and wellness inside out! Contact us for more information.
If you've been living under the cloud of rumbling, flashing, threatening discontent, don't worry, come on out...

If you are part of St. Cloud > we hope to see you at the We Are One rally. All you global citizens can click We are One to celebrate this vision and action. As always, CMWS invites you to share your voice and solutions to build thriving communities locally and globally.
